Because its all so fucking hysterical

A great movie that’s isn’t talked about much I love the prohibition crime era and the stories about what people did to survive during this time. This to me is one Tom Hanks best performances. If you haven’t seen it watch it!

The polar opposite halves of this movie is crazy. On one hand you got beautiful father son story. The other you have horrific violence and murder. Jude Law in this movie is hella spooky. The score is fantastic but I also sounds like finding Nemo which makes it even wilder. Crazy film to watch. If you don’t like violence I would sit this one out.

As someone who isn’t that into mob films, this was great. Its stylized atmosphere and deep dive into father son relationships was interesting to watch and I was also quite fascinated by the story. It’s a well crafted film and one of the highlights of 2002.
