Kareem is "meh" on
Raise the Red Lantern
"If they own your body, become a ghost. If they own your mind, lose it."
Visually stunning with great camera angles, and I guess that's why it's highly praised, but the overall weak-chessy-dull story ruined the whole thing for me. Can't say that I liked it.

Morrow loved
Raise the Red Lantern
A beautiful movie that comments on patriarchy, a must watch if you enjoy foreign films
