spectacular film

the many homages to different genres was truly amazing to watch and kept me fascinated up to the credits — the 2D portion was beautifully done

loved the strong female energy, it doesn’t feel backhanded/male-gazey

gonna be thinking abt this movie for a while

not made for everyone but I liked it, can't wait to watch vol 2 💛

Like watching Tarantino play with the action figures of his favorite exploitation movies. Incredibly dorky. His homages here just directly lift scenes from other movies. He depicts Japan like a 300 pound guy who watches anime thinks it is. The action is silly and boring.
