Psycho IV: The Beginning
I guess it's okay for a TV movie and a prequel. Olivia Hussey is good as always, and everyone else is okay too. You don't get many good kills, and Anthony Perkins is just telling his story. Technically it is bad, but for me it's okay enough to watch.

I really enjoyed this one seeing where it all started. Looking deep into the mind of Norman and seeing him finally overcome Mother. Though it was strange seeing Elliot from ET in this way

Is this movie vital in the franchise? No. But does it really help in understanding the rest of the franchise and tying it together? Yes. Anthony Perkins is great as always and it was fun despite it being almost entirely flashbacks
