I really enjoyed this one seeing where it all started. Looking deep into the mind of Norman and seeing him finally overcome Mother. Though it was strange seeing Elliot from ET in this way

Is this movie vital in the franchise? No. But does it really help in understanding the rest of the franchise and tying it together? Yes. Anthony Perkins is great as always and it was fun despite it being almost entirely flashbacks

A decent prequel/sequel that has a unique framing narrative I hadn’t seen before for a slasher where the killer is recounting his early days to a news station. Cool stuff. Didn’t move the needle, but does once again prove the consistency of this franchise.
