Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers

im legit just filling this out to get the badge cause im a completionist but the halloween movies have always been top tier and will always be in my list to watch in october. its a classic horror movie that you can never go wrong with. scares maybe be outdated but still good :)))

I thought the film was pretty good and interesting overall. The atmosphere and story kept me engaged. However, the cult storyline felt unnecessary and didn’t really fit with the earlier films. If you ignore that part, it’s still an entertaining

A dark atmosphere and heavy tone make it work despite the nonsense. What made Michael terrifying was mystery. Not knowing why he kills is scarier than any explanation. Nothing is more frightening than an enigma. By defining him through a curse, it diminishes that unknowable evil.

Meh.
