poor acting, everything is so dark it’s hard to see, and very predictable. average bad, not infuriatingly bad. that’s the nicest thing i can say. 2/10

I actually enjoyed this one quite a bit. Of the three Popeye horror, movies that have come out this year, this one is my second choice. It was entertaining, bloody, and somewhat of an interesting story.

I’d never recommend nor watch this again lol.

Uh it was alright. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t good. The design for popeye works keeping it faithful to the original. The main plot point kind of sucked and i saw it coming from a mile away. Kills were good but could not understand a word popeye spoke. It’s watchable

Too bad they don't have time to go back and one s@l@k after another.......far away....in this movie they ended it. The next one that will come out will definitely be "The Return of Olive"

I didn’t expect anything great. I did like his look. I did like the nods to the cartoon. The twist isn’t a twist. You kinda figure that was on purpose I hope. Liked the “plot” and all. Big complaint is death and gore sucked. He used the same moves over and over. Nothing creative or cool. Couple idiots kill themselves. This should have been much more violent and bloody. You had a decent background. Not a total waste but not a great watch. And the bf was the absolutely worst actor in this film.

Nostalgia purposes it scratches that itch however the acting is horrendous
