The only thing wrong with this movie is the main character and everything he does. But the sight of him, the sound of him, and every action he does are so aggravating to experience that I can’t help but hate the rest of the movie. His husband and “secret lover” deserve better.

Beautiful and conplex

I want my life back, and I don’t want you in it.
A few strong scenes and lines aside, this didn’t work for me. It’s emotionally inaccessible, and the supposedly sincere moments often felt unintentionally hilarious. Whishaw is great here, but his performance is wasted on this film

What a horrid odious little man

people need to understand that the main character doesn’t always have to be likable. the protagonist of this film is morally wrong. the story is very well executed and its cinematography is exquisite. i do have to say that the evil bisexual trope is damaging to the bi community.
