Jon Bernthal is going after that Liam Neeson supporting player run of the early 2000s. This is me avoiding talking about race in a Queue review.

This was a very well done adaptation. It was cinematically beautiful but sooo hard to watch. Bring your tissues, I barely made it through the opening scene without my eyes watering.

Very powerful movie that makes you think, feel, and ponder new ideas. Very emotional. I was fine till the last fifteen minutes or so and then I cried multiple times! Slow at times but overall a great movie.

Unfortunately this film wasn’t for me.

I get the whole deep and emotional story of this film but it felt very slow paced and it just didn’t really catch my attention that much.

I liked the way they jumped between the present and the past German history and such but that was about it and I wished the flashback scenes were shown more properly and not just jump from the present scene to the past in a second without warning.

This film is made for the people who are more into history stuff and unfortunately I’m not one of those people so I didn’t quite enjoy it as much as some other people would.

A dry examination on prejudice that looks and feels like an important 90s PSA.

There are no words. What stays in my heart is Al Bright. Phonenomal story. Freedom for your human rights.

I guess 2020 was a weird time for sure because I never heard of this book! Wish I had read it first. It was powerful. Taught me a lot. Will be googling more later. Felt like a documentary but also dealt with everyday real life. Because this is life. Award season snub for sure.

Everyone should watch this movie, it helps people to understand reality of the world.

One of the most powerful, moving and significant films I have ever seen. Should have won an Oscar!

This was so good and so sad. If you like watching movies that make you cry like I do, this is a must see. Learning where you come from is a journey not everyone is fortunate to experience.
