One of my favorite Clive Barker films. First, David Cronenberg is fantastic as Decker. That mask. His persona. Fantastically creepy. Midian and its monsters are all unique and interesting. It’s a dark faerie tale where the humans are the strange and weird.

The Book by Clive Barker is way better, but my love of 80s/90s horror puts this up as one of my top from that time period.

ahhhh the amount of world building and characters could make an entire hbo series, this movie is soo fucking incredible and a favorite of mine!!
