It was enjoyable . The plot was okay and it had a few decent parts, but I did end up losing interest around the middle.

It's a cool concept and has some good gore in there but feels like it could've been so much more. The second half gets all cheesy, and the tone changes and still somehow manages to be kinda fun. As much as I don't prefer remakes, this could benefit from one.
