Neon Genesis Evangelion: The End of Evangelion

Destroyed me for about a week following my first viewing. A fitting end to one of the most complex shows I have ever seen. On its own End of Eva is a gruesome story that torments the viewer in the best possible ways. Truly one of the best to ever do it. 4/5

This ending was written as a alternate ending to shoe fans what it’s like to not grow as a person and change but to resort to fantasy and myths.
I personally like the original ending more because it completly changed my life

Just rewatched this in theaters for the 30th anniversary, and I gotta say I loved it a way more on my second rewatch, granted I was half awake the first time so I was barely paying attention. I found it a lot easier to follow and not as confusing as before. Btw Amazing visuals.

Driving home I just felt less alone
