Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone

Just a retelling of the first few episodes. The dub voice acting is so atrocious tho so I have to knock it down a few points 😭 Misato sounds like Akwafina

5/10 It’s alright. Pretty similar to the original introduction where it’s just Shinji being thrown into the EVA and complaining the whole time. The animation is smoother but also loses that old style charm it had. Excited for the other rebuild films as I wasn’t a big fan of parts of the series and the end of evangelion story tbh…

It was okayish, a lot of it happened quite quickly and it didn’t seem super coherent, but I assume the series is better

It was good for a remake I don’t know what to say for remakes it has some really good voice actors I’m going to give it a 3.5 star I mean it wasn’t that good of a remake but I love neon genesis but I can’t wait to watch the other ones
