Amazing

I get high and start noticing rule of thirds like way too much

If you liked the original you’ll like this take. Good dark gritty scenery and much more visual storytelling than verbal. Can be a fun exterior watch for action/romance BUT if you key in on the small details you’ll appreciate the acting and rougher setting. Would definitely watch

A entertaining action film but not the greatest cop film. By no means bad it’s just not one of Michael Mann’s best films.

it was like a fever dream of what it was like to grow up in the early 2000’s san diego. loved the sapphire wide shots of the ocean. a smartly written script definitely worth a rewatch

A bit disappointing

The Miami Vice movie brings the classic TV show to the big screen with intense action and a darker tone. Stylish, with cool shootouts and car chases. Not much focus on the plot, but if you like fast-paced crime thrillers, it’s worth a watch.

Michael Mann is a phenomenal director, but this is definitely one of his weakest.

I had high expectations, with having Foxx and Farrell, but still pretty enjoyable.
