Metropolis

could have been so much better if it wasn’t two and a half hours. too long for a silent film. the story was really good and the set was great but i couldn’t appreciate either cause it just went on and on and on

queueing this up alongside "the time machine" and "us" to explore the legacy of subterranian proletarians throughout history. that's a free film school thesis proposal, my gift to you

even tho i haven’t watched this, it looks a little ahead of it’s time which is good!

The Machine knows how to boogie

In the distant future of 2024, a cabal of the rich and powerful use technology to manipulate, control and divide the poor and working class to act against their best interests. You know…science fiction.
