This movie was mid but it was funny cause I was high as balls watching it in 3d at the theatre

great film. nothing can top the first one but i wasn't disappointed. loved that they brought back quite a few of the actors from the first one and left it open for a potential 3rd film !!!

Tell me it's a joke, the cgi is outrageous.

First half of the movie is absolute trash. After that: Funny, action, suspense… overall cool but in a “wtf am I watching” kinda way.

I love shark moves, especially bad ones, but this was bad even for me. Lots of inaccuracies that took me out of it. Tons of funny one liners tho. Kinda boring as well. I’d probably watch again however, because I love bad shark movies. 😂

I fall asleep before the end of the movie. I truly do not know why it is called the Meg when the first antagonist are humans and another one is a Giant Octopus. Scenario could had been wrote by a 12 years kid I would not be shocked. 7/20 (I cannot say it is unpleasant to watch)

6.5/10 it’s a fuck around shark movie 😂 it’s some bullshit 😂 there was no need for a meg 2. Jason staham is getting free money. I could fuckin act in this movie, it’s fuckin easy 😂

Actively bad movie. Felt like 3 whole movies in one, all having mediocre cgi, terrible chemistry, bland dialogue, and boring context. I expected it to at least have some amazing elements, but I can't even say the cgi is up there because if it wasn't dark and underwater, it looked melted and deformed. Maybe I sound too harsh, but I was disappointed and disinterested. Also, there was barely any development, even with the sharks. It was just a chuck and grab to the audience.

Actually liked it more than I thought I would. Thought the story had more depth to it than the first film. My one big complaint is the size change of the sharks from scene to scene, sometimes they look a lot smaller than other times.

almost as amazing as the first one!! i do have a few criticisms but they certainly do not make the movie any less enjoyable. highly recommend if you like shark movies
