Wanted to see it but boycotting. Havent seen it and wont be. they cheaped out and use AI art WHICH IS THEFT so its getting an automatic dislike from me

Gonna start off and say I don’t give about the AI art because in my eyes its not really that big of a deal, AI art has been used for years now (10+) and its only really become a problem because consumer versions of it are being forced down everyones throat as of late (ya’ll had no problem with it for the past 10 years, find a better way to be a victim)

All that garbage aside, this movie is good, I enjoyed every bit of it and the practical effects really sold me and reminded me a little of the classics like Evil Dead II

Dang this was a let down. I can say I enjoyed it but I was just so disappointed in the execution and overall flow of the movie. The CGI was awful, the characters were unlikable, and it just wasn’t a clear plot or story. It had cool elements and suspense but also a dull slowburn

I love that they used the practical effects used in 70s movies. Gave it a bit of a campy feel, but it was still creepy and suspenseful

it was super cool + interesting luv the story but i do wish the practical effects looked more like current instead of 70s cuz it made it look like it was part of the show like idk. ending Cool. ALSO WHY THE INTRO COMPANIES THING SO LONG LOL

Who cares about AI. You guys are losers for boycotting a low budget film for using AI. Insane first world problems

Genuinely really great. Awesome concept, even more awesome execution, genuinely scary during some of the build up and the acting from everyone was great. Literally only gripe is why on earth they needed to use so many (BAD LOOKING) AI images for a movie of this quality. Shame…

So fucking good

The movie is good, nice setup, well acted. It doesn’t deliver a 100% though, but hits more than it misses. If it was a mini series or multi movie I think they could’ve explored more. PS: If your review is just complaining about AI art, go chisel your review into a stone tablet 😜.

As great as the acting, dialogue, and storytelling were, a part of me can't give this a good rating for the use of AI. It's pushing the agenda by getting away with 'one picture', till it will be whole scenes. I don't know why an artist couldn't have done it. You hire so many people just to rely on stealing from other people. I don't know what kind of AI they used but they clearly they can get away with it. Any movie using artifical work automatically gets a stiff finger from me. Even if it's just an image, why does it need to be AI-generated? Have fun with the artificial mess that only Hollywood will profit from.

This movie had a ton of potential, interesting enough concept but it wasn’t really executed well enough.

Well done horror movie. I liked how they started it as a true crime intro. Creative story that they executed well.

7.4 - idk if it’s a genre reset like some said but it’s a bit goofy & a lot of fun. The premise is a unique take on possession & there just enough real conspiracy to ground it. Dastmalchian plays his role of cheesy late night host & horror victim incredibly, & it oozes 70s vibes.

Weirdest fucking film ever

Entertaining: Yes, I couldn’t look away - BUT - so many issues. Narrating intro (Show don’t tell), Corny CGI, anticlimactic ending with no resolution - “BTS” cameras everywhere and impossibly placed/obtrusive to characters yet always ignored…

I loved the concept and how they told the story. But the story and “special effects” kinda ruined it.

It’s FUN. Idk what more people want from the plot: it’s a LIVE late night talk show that goes off the rails. Imagine if you’re at home watching Kimmel and he brings on something supernatural. Pretty captivating and def a unique concept. Not toooo scary!!
