No clue why they had to make it into scifi

You know what. This isn’t bad. A lot of the jokes were funny the story was good but just like the previous one. It would’ve been better if it wasn’t Jason and just some random alien thing. But I hope that’s what the alien movies are like cause this made me want to watch them.

3/13/26: I fucking love this movie oh my god, it literally feels like it came out today. Yes Jason is in space, but this franchise has only been silly the entire time, none of the plot with Jason has been coherent or even scary, so why fucking not? This is the most insane addition to the franchise, the plot has completely left any original sense of what it once was and has completely shifted in genre and stylistic idea, and it’s absolutely aware of that and is proud to be.

The cinematography and costume design is insanely ahead of its time, I was taking pictures with my phone like a fuckin concert. It’s also so funny and wacky and honestly uncanny at times. Pls watch it. You don’t even have to see any of the other movies, as long as you know what Jason as a character is, you’ll get it. It’s so good.

Jason X feels like a mindless action movie that you can easily put on in the background while working or engaging in more productive activities. While it does have some solid action sequences, the story is essentially nonexistent.

funny — get what you expect when jason goes to space. don’t care for all the nudity, like did we really need all the boob shots?? was it necessary for the plot?? but the deaths were good and kay-em survived and that’s what matters
