Friday the 13th Part VII - The New Blood

Looking in the mirror scared me more than this movie.

I’m so ashamed that I was unaware of how much aura Jason has. Like I knew he was a big ass killer in a hockey mask, but he’s SO cool. The chain around his neck, the tattered black clothes, his exposed spine and ribcage, he’s literally such a scary ass badass and I love him.

Back to the same old shit man. Free Friday 13th 6 bro. Dumbass POV shots are back and random ass kills out of nowhere with no buildup. Tina’s powers were fine but pointless didn’t add or take away from the shit I just watched. Also…..

This could’ve been such a great start to a new storyline focusing on Tina and Nick. If they had kept them as final characters and added some lore surrounding Tina’s powers and how Crystal Lake seemingly turns those who die in it into the undead, this could easily have been the best entry in the series (which it probably is). We also probably got the best version of Jason in this installment.

Ight now we r getting way off topic. Superpowers vs Jason. Are we fr. Feels like they had no idea what the sh*t to do except this. Sleeping bag kill was cool. But there was nothing really else expect Jason getting his ass beat. Ending too like wtf. 5.6/10.
