Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan

Ts was ass. The MPAA had fully ran its course so the kills suck, the characters are bland as hell, and it has so many continuity errors. 3/10 at most, such a disappointment.

Ngl was not watching it. Was on my phone majority of the time until we got into the actual city of NY not the docks. That was interesting although it didn’t feel like a Friday 13th movie at that point. In a good way…….

Jason in NYC? Iconic idea, awkward execution. 🗽🔪 Kills drop, plot drags, but that final boat scene slaps. City life meets camp terror, but mostly it’s just Jason being extra.
