One of the funniest shorts I’ve ever seen. The concept is simple and probably not everyone’s style of humor, but it definitely worked for me and I found it hysterical.

I loved this short! It was funny it was well done and as a female, I really appreciated it! I wish this had been the tie for the winner!

I thought this was very funny, loved the details, the names alone had me in hysterics. The acting didn’t bother me, I mean, it’s supposed to be an English period (no pun intended) “drama”, the acting is always forced. Such a clever little short.

2.7 - Am I the only person that found this insanely cringey instead of funny?

I didn’t hear a single laugh out of my theater but heard a few groans & know I rolled my eyes a couple times. Core idea is sweet enough I guess, but it felt like a bad sketch comedy show but instead of an Oscar nomination worthy short film. Highly questionable acting from some of the cast too.

The stark tonal shift between this and Two People Exchanging Saliva did this no favors either.

It was funny in moments but mostly not very well acted (save for one or two roles) and didn’t leave a lasting impression.

quite funny and the lead guy, Ta'imua, was great! He reminded me of a live action Ichabod Crane from the animated Disney Sleepy Hollow but in a good way
