In the Lost Lands

Paul Anderson? Milla Jovovich? George R.R. Martin? All great yet disappointing personalities, like the movie itself. I love fantasy, but I don't know if that's what I can call this completely manufactured nonsense. It started better than expected and then nosedived off the rails harder than the train in the trailer clip. Some aspects were cool. Dave was cool, kind of. The rest, which is the majority, I don't know how to explain. At least it lives up to its title, 'In the Lost Lands.'

This was extremely boring. The story has lots of pot holes and lacked character development. The story seemed like it was written by a child. 4/10

It’s passable, but mostly forgettable. The world-building's okay, and Milla Jovovich is right at home here: fierce, enigmatic, strangely perfect for this eerie fantasy realm.
