I Don't Feel at Home in This World Anymore

probably would’ve liked it more than i already do if it was just focused on ruth and tony’s relationship. loved the cast (elijah and melanie 💏) and writing (some of the dialogue was done so well). that ending was about to piss me off. soundtrack was really nice too.

71/100. I will say that when this movie tries to be funny, it either succeeds or fails miserably. Luckily, it succeeds more than it doesn’t, but some of the dialogue is straight up horrible. It feels like this movie doesn’t know what genre it’s supposed to be and experiments.

I picked this because I too have been feeling very fuck the world. It took some darker turns than I was expecting too. Laughed. Was shocked. A good movie night movie. Not too long.

This was kinda bananas. I truly enjoy little gems like these. It’s not a record breaker but it has heart, a good story, good acting, some good laughs, and it’s relatable. It doesn’t overstay its welcome either.

When the good Netflix movies are always hidden. Elijah Wood is the real MVP here and holds this together. I'm not familiar with Melanie Lynskey, but she was pretty good here.
