Under the Silver Lake

- stopped it halfway through, too boring/long to continue
- the plot is non existent and scenes are very loosely threated together
- the character is not crafted well enough to be invested in his story
- the mystery is only driven through the background music and I don’t care for

Shot very well and Andrew Garfield is just such a great actor. However the story felt very messy, while i thought the dog killer plot line with the ex girlfriend was more intriguing more than the evil Hollywood story, it just felt like the movie couldn’t stick to a story. The ending being so open also is kinda annoying but it’s been done worse. Just not something I see myself returning to or really thinking about rather than the Andrew preformance.

Seen this a few weeks ago, it was…something

The mystery is good, movies longer than it needed to be

Ending isn’t that great

it was like a good mid movie. if u into conspiracy theories and shi u will mess with this. the vibe and visuals are enjoyable imo. the music is decent. andrew garfield is goated to me so i especially enjoyed his role. the plot was mid imo tho. idk if it’s worth the rewatch 4.5/10

To say the director wrote it follows I’m severely disappointed felt like a sitcom
