Loved this film ever since i was a kid. Great practical effects for the monsters and great leading man.

I LOVED THIS MOVIE SM!!!! I would DEFINITELY rewatch this. One of the few cheesy 80s horror films I would actually give a 10/10. Maybe i’m just a fan of stupid 80s horror comedies but this one was actually pretty good and funny at times it was trying to be serious. I def rec 👍‼️

Peak 80s horror. Such a silly stupid movie that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Had such a great time watching with the fam.

What people seem to forget is that this is NOT a scary psychological horror!! It’s a comedy! It’s a silly little monster movie! Don’t think too deep abt it
Tw graphic suicide, violence, child death, body horror

disjointed and all over the place… it felt so very slow and even though i laughed, it was almost always out of confusion, the ghosts/monsters looked really cool though and i wished they focused on them more, loved the ending with the sexy skeleton, i wish that was the whole movie

a bit confusing and derivative even for 1985. i mean cmon getting over his fear and dwelling on the past failings in vietnam were giving the monsters power and only in making peace with his past could he kill them. really. fun tho

Pretty good campy haunted house movie. I thought the creature effects were well done and the ending was fun. 7/10

Don’t get me wrong, it’s good, but would’ve worked better as a 1hr episode of an anthology series like “Tales from the Dark Side” or even “Amazing Stories”

Superbad is "meh" on
House
This movie has like the bare minimum plot and scenes are just everywhere and doing whatever
Did his ex wife actually die?
Did he get away with just killing his ex wife?
The costume for the demons or whatever were pretty cool but very 80’s
Overall felt meh at the end of it — mostly because it was like I had just watched an 80’s demon compilation

Harold: Hey, it's great to have a new neighbor. Woman lived here before you was nuts. Biggest bitch under the sun. Just a senile old hag really. Wouldn't be surprised if someone just got fed up and offed her. Know what I mean?
Roger: She was my aunt.
Harold: Heart of gold though. Just uh, a saint really. And uh such a beautiful woman, for her age.
