Hold Your Breath

I might be the only one who’s seen this movie here, but I give it a strong 8/10. I worked on set and had a blast with the production. The visuals, acting, and suspense really made it stand out. Worth the watch if you are looking for a solid Halloween season movie!

On the upper end of a dislike. Visually, it pulled me in, and that's about it. The pace is far too slow, and barely anything interesting happens. As for horror, atmospherically, it was almost there. Otherwise, it failed in delivering mystery or keeping any tension whatsoever. It actively lost my attention, and so I eventually gave up.

Sara Paulson is a scream queen

Sarah Paulson gives a very strong, committed performance as a stressed mother and her young co-stars also provide an impressive performance in a claustrophobic, and dusty atmosphere. A bit of an ambiguous ending methinks 🤔 6.5/10.
