Hellboy

I love the originals, please don’t get me wrong, but I loved this version. The bloody gore and foul language was great. Maybe I’m just a sick fuck 🤷🏼 I didn’t think David Harbour was bad. I feel his make up could have been way better. Looking forward to the sequel.

Hellboy (2019) - 4.4/10 ⭐️

Ugh, what a disappointment! This reboot, starring David Harbour, fails to capture the magic of the original films. The story is convoluted, and the pacing is slow. Harbour's Hellboy lacks the charm and charisma that Perlman brought to the role. Overall, a lackluster effort.

Overall, the Hellboy franchise has its highs and lows. If you're new to the series, I recommend starting with the original 2004 film and its 2008 sequel. Skip the 2019 reboot, and approach The Crooked Man with tempered expectations.
