Hellboy

Not the best movie ever, but I think it’s a very faithful Hellboy adaptation, and I wish the other movies were on HBOMax too.

Fun, but not particularly special. Costume design was fantastic, though the action not so much. Feels like a X-Men | Indiana Jones hybrid.
The rooftop part with the kid was classic.
Bad sword guy was awesome, too bad his fight was so anticlimactic

Solid, 6-6.5/10

Didn’t know this was Guillermo, so that’s cool. Makes sense with all the crazy effects going on in here.

This is my first ever Hellboy story, and i thought it was cool and interesting. The creatures were all really cool. It was a good mixture of real and fantasy.

I know there’s hella Hellboy graphic novels by Darkhorse or whatever, i think it’d be really cool to get an animated series that covers those novels
