Hellboy

Not the best movie ever, but I think it’s a very faithful Hellboy adaptation, and I wish the other movies were on HBOMax too.

This was really good and ahead of it's time. Peak practical effects. It's creative and bold. It's a fun supernatural comicbook movie to watch.

At least the design of it all was Fucking cool

starts off pretty strong and eventually ends having suffered from some cliches and less than epic moments. i thought the effects, especially concerning how the characters looked, were super impressive. an enjoyable monster-action film of sorts, worth watching
