Hellboy II: The Golden Army

Guillermo never misses with creature designs

These movies are so weird but I dig them. It’s such a fun way of storytelling. Still very cheesy but the character design and practical effects are super cool and unique.

Love that it has the same vibe as the 1st, though less straightforward I guess. The characters seemed more fleshed out and the banter and humor was more fun, but I think I liked the story more in the 1st. Still, a fun villian who wasn’t even that generic. Liked the plant monster

This is exactly what i wanted and expected for a pt.2 of Hellboy. Action, mystical creatures and better effects. The ending is kind of lacking imo buts its a good movie (if you don’t like the first, don’t watch this one)
