Del Toro returns with an even better sequel! The Golden Army expands the Hellboy universe, introducing new characters and mythologies. The action scenes are more epic, and the humor is spot on. Perlman and the cast deliver strong performances, making this a must-watch for fans.

Overall, the Hellboy franchise has its highs and lows. If you're new to the series, I recommend starting with the original 2004 film and its 2008 sequel. Skip the 2019 reboot, and approach The Crooked Man with tempered expectations.
