Is it as bad as many people say? No.
Ryan Reynolds is appealing and funny, and he has great chemistry with Blake Lively.
Still worth watching.

I know this movie gets a lot of hate. I get it. Does it have flaws? Absolutely. Is the costume kind of ridiculous? Yes. But was the story enjoyable and was it fun to see Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds fall in love on screen? Yes. So overall is it a favorite? No. Is it watchable and able to be enjoyed? Yes. Just be forgiving of some things.

Everything about this movie genuinely upsets me. Every night I lay awake thinking about ways I can erase this movie from my memory. I have no answers.

Wasn’t as bad as I was expecting it to be. I did watch the extended cut so maybe that’s why. There are definitely better superhero movies but this wasn’t that bad. Only downside is Blake Lively

Yeah I don't understand why Ryan himself and people hate this.
Is it perfect, no, but for something in the early 2010's the amount of (quality) CGI, VFX, and world building done was amazing.
I loved how the movie "explored" Oa so much as well, the only meh part I guess was Hector

- The CGI was hilariously bad 🤣🤣
- It was nice to see Carol recognize Hal w the mask on right away you never see that
- Bro what were those villains 😭😭
- Then I saw the end credits… they really hyped up a sequel w Sinestro as the main villain 😭😭

I now understand why Ryan Reynolds shits on this movie so much. The effects/CGI is fucking atrocious. The story is boring,bland,and predictable. I did not smile,smirk,laugh, or feel any emotion at all though the movies 1 hour and 58 minute runtime. Please do not waste your time.

That was genuinely the worst film ever. I can see why Ryan Reynolds has roasted the shit out of this film and even made jokes about it in Deadpool. I was holding out some hope that it would be somewhat enjoyable, but a 5.5/10 on IMDb is extremely generous.

i remember being terrified of the villain when I was younger and how big and fleshy him and his head got but i watched it recently and it wasn’t scary at all. ik it was cause I was younger but goddamn i was scared of him. it’s really funny to think about
