Green Lantern

Is it great? No.
Is it as bad as many people say? No.
Ryan Reynolds is appealing and funny, and he has great chemistry with Blake Lively.
Still worth watching.

I know this movie gets a lot of hate. I get it. Does it have flaws? Absolutely. Is the costume kind of ridiculous? Yes. But was the story enjoyable and was it fun to see Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds fall in love on screen? Yes. So overall is it a favorite? No. Is it watchable and able to be enjoyed? Yes. Just be forgiving of some things.

Everything about this movie genuinely upsets me. Every night I lay awake thinking about ways I can erase this movie from my memory. I have no answers.

i love green lantern, i hate ryan reynolds, and i just mildly dislike this movie. performances aren’t good, effects are just alright, the antagonist is god-awful, and at the end of the day, ryan reynolds is still there
