I would have loved it, had it not taken a random,, incest turn? Like they’re not actually siblings but it made it so weird that they were love interests. I guess it is a spoiler that they aren’t siblings, but i honestly feel like that’s necessary context to enjoy the movie

Cute love story but the whole siblings sub-plot made me very uncomfortable throughout the movie . Glad that they discovered that they weren’t siblings tho but I give this movie a 6.5/10

This was a great chance of pace in studio ghibli movies because of how grounded it was. It was just focused on these two kids in love, trying to save something they love while uncovering their pasts together. It’s such a beautiful story with beautiful animation.

Honestly this film would be such a good one if they didn’t introduce the disgusting incest plot. I get that they weren’t actually related but it was completely unnecessary and ruined this great film.

If it hadn't taken that weird turn, I would've loved this along with other Studio Ghibli, but it lost me, and even though it turned out not to be true, it still couldn't recover. Great story, animation, and characters here, though.

They had us for a sec think the two love interest we’re related. I don’t like that lol. That made the whole middle part of the movie feel really weird. Also the ending wasn’t very conclusive with them. The music was really good.

AHHHH STUDIO GHIBLI GETS BETTER AND BETTER WITH EVERY FILM. But when the incest plot was revealed I had to make sure they weren’t siblings before I continued watching because omg. Then I had to make sure they found out they weren’t related it was a whole mess. So good 10000000/10

Une romance et un récit initiatique à la fois.
Ce que j'ai aimé dans cet anime c'est cette facilité à rentrer dans l'univers du quotidien. J'ai pleuré et ri également et c'est à mon sens le plaisir d'aller voir un film au cinéma.
J'ai encore quelques films du studio à voir
