Even though this was the start to another action franchise for Stallone, it’s probably one of the first movies to bring PTSD to the forefront. Which is the most important aspect of this film.

This movie perfectly summarizes what’s wrong with modern film. This guys a tough cookie, but sharp teeth can bite through the toughest of cookies-at least they should.

Rambos not some total superhuman with no depth or pain. He’s an actual character

Raw & authentic action movie. Not the best but good

Just watched this for the first time and didn’t really enjoy it. Had heard it was an anti-war, ptsd film not just an action movie, but that was just the setup, the bulk was just action with no plot. Not to mention being all white men, not even a token woman. And very violent.

8.2/10 It was good but not great. Got boring a little bit it was almost predictable. Just one long stretched out night. But it was still a pretty good movie.
