This was really not great but I’m a sucker for those wild death sequences

These movies literally unlocked fears I never knew I had!

6.4 - rating is “meh” but I still like this a lot. Outside of the opening premonition, I didn’t remember much of this one.

The opening sequence is arguably the most memorable, most realistic feeling, & maybe best of the entire series. From there, the rest of this movie struggles to quite live up to the level of its predecessor.

The kills are more gory, but the characters relationship (or lack of) makes it a lot harder to fully care for the entire run time. It also doesn’t do nearly enough to carry through the supernatural elements of the first - many of these deaths felt much more like pure accident than predetermined & manipulated deaths, which kind of undercuts the whole point.

I do, however, love the way they tied the two stories together, not just with Clear’s character but with the tie in of each new character’s life to the original events, as well as interactions with locations from the first movie. That was a decent trade off with the lessened supernatural influence to ground this clearly in the same universe.

Overall, still a fun and easy watch.

Classic Final Destination

I won’t be going behind any truck again that’s for sure. Clear coming back for the second film was amazing. 5/5 stars.

Yeah this might end up being one of my favorite franchises. The ending was a little goofy, but I completely understand why the opening is as iconic as it was. The tension was built so perfectly it was stupid, the visuals were GORGEOUS, and the twist with her friends was insane.

They hit the nail on the head with this one. Iconic characters, shocking twists, and a cast that’s almost too pretty to handle.

Decent at best this is a lighter, campier, but gorier sequel to the original. Now that the ground rules have been established for the Final Destination movies, the fun lies in seeing the inventive ways in which the writers dispatch the various characters in the sequel.

My second fav out of the six movies. I loved the opening scene there was so much happening. I loved Officer Burke literally severed. Also the return of Baddie Clear was the best. Personally I liked the characters in the movie, death scenes were gruesome. I liked how Kimberly(1)

probs my fav from the series! i like how it expands on the lore from the first movie & gives us more information about how this whole “cheating death” thing works. i also like that u get to see everyone working together

Such a great series. This one continues the story and is fun to watch.

Well that’s given me confidence to drive on the road 🤣🙈.
The placement of that scene was shocking and so much went on.
