I'm loving the return of spoofs, even the not-so-great ones. This started hopeful, and certain gags worked magically. Unfortunately, 90 minutes felt like a decade, and the balance between sense and nonsense didn't work for me at all. I was in with the over-the-topness, but not so much when it resulted in making other jokes fall flat, like with the conclusion to the 'whodunit'. Otherwise, the production and casting were great. I'd maybe recommend it if you like royal period piece dramas.

6/10 Fun lighthearted film (Downton Abbey with Airplane humour). Recommend.

i really enjoyed the humor of this for the most part - some of the dialogue was cheesy but it was all a fun kind of cheesy - acting was good and it had a really fun vibe
