I may be partial, but I loved this movie growing up and I still do. I can see why ppl who have read the book were dissatisfied though.

Shitty adaptation of a great story, I hope the Disney+ series will be able to show us a much more interesting story.

Loved this growing up love it now. It’s great. Needs a reboot as the graphics are rubbish. Should keep close to the books

This is basically a fantasy riff on Star Wars A New Hope, complete with a reluctant hero & a mysterious mentor. Even if it’s not as epic as it wants to be. Solid for fans craving classic hero’s journey vibes. Not terrible, just forgettable.
