Fun watch

I cannot express how much I love this movie, its book, asa butterfield and Hailee steinfeld. It’s just too good the pacing is perfect and although the age isn’t correct for the movie adaptation I prefer his age process in the movie though I wish it had even more inner monologue

While it was a good tear jerker, I found certain events with in the movie to be confusing. The acting also felt very pushed and even cringy in some moments, but I would still recommend to those who like space films as the graphic design in the film is very cool and intricate.

Awesome movie about aliens.

I read this back in high school and I enjoyed the movie. There was a lot of focus on the competition game and less space/story and it was rushed but still a good time and makes me want to read the other books.

I watched this as a kid and damn, did it shape me. Nobody who adores science fiction should miss this! It does the books justice!
