Fuck this I don’t even want to waste my time with giving this a review

Fun fact: my parents were gonna name me Jovie because their first date was watching this movie in the cinema when it first came out

I literally felt physical pain for the short amount of time I watched this film, and I still, all these years later, physically cringe anytime I see any merchandise for it. I still have yet to recover.

2.1 - I don’t like Will Ferrell and didn’t see this movie until college. Overhyped and not worth watching ever again imo. Not a fan of one role actors and Will Ferrell plays an overgrown child in every thing he does.

Overhyped overplayed. Not funny

I saw this for the first time again in years and it surprisingly aged pretty well.  The jokes still land pretty well for the most part and Will Pharrell’s Buddy The Elf is endearing as ever.  Definitely not a masterpiece but I had fun with this movie. 7.5/10

Goated Christmas Movie!

Wouldn’t be at the top of my list but definitely up there.

Buddy is one of Will Ferrells best characters and his adventure to find his dad is great!

Would watch again!
