Fun fact: my parents were gonna name me Jovie because their first date was watching this movie in the cinema when it first came out

To begin, the love story, although small, was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Falling for how the person is, rather than for anything else. Did this movie have a story to follow? Not much. And although Buddy was… a child in a sense, it made it make sense. 8/10

The people criticizing the film didn't understand that the protagonist's attitude is normal. He is an elf, didn't even live in a normal house. Aside from a few rushed moments and some unnecessary jokes, I found it quite entertaining. Even funny at some parts. 7.85/10
