Long Distance

Woah, the visuals are amazing. From the suits to the aliens, it's a planetary feast for any Sci-fi fan. The score was fine, wanted some heaviness, but got genericness instead. I loved the sound effects though. Unlike the casting, I think both the leads are great actors but at a Disney level. It tries to be realistic/raw but it just comes off as annoyingly artificial. I love space, I love aliens, I love a bit of horror. This had it all till it quickly didn't. The characters embodied the feeling of second-hand embarrassment so it was hard to enjoy any jokes. Seems like there was more distance between the cast and crew with the way it went.

This was a short sci fi movie. I liked it, but I do think it could have been better. The beginning I felt well I’ve seen this before. It does improve, but I’m left wanting more from what we’re not told so while there is a fulfilling ending I didn’t feel fulfilled completely.

I honestly loved this, even though it was a "single person" movie, I quite enjoyed it, the ending was nice, the plot, the characters and all the alines, one thing that pissed me off is that technically, it ended on a cliffhanger, like part 2 of this is what would be dope

One of my pet peeves is space romance. I love the concept of space and how creative you can get with it but focusing on romance bothers me so much. Still 7/10

A film that could've been so much greater but nonetheless a good watch.
