as if we needed further proof that no one else but trachtenberg should touch this franchise ever again .. we got more

maybe the best cgi we’ve got in a while, great world building and great chemistry between elle and dek, thumping action and some laughs too, a worthy addition

Great story and love the little bits of comedy. Definitely worth a watch. I watched it in 4DX and it was 10 times better. 9/10

Fantastic action sequences and really impressive visual effects for the most part. Everything felt like a spectacle, which is exactly what you want.

Trachtenberg follows up his previous amazing work in Prey with another incredible installment. It has action, tension AND heart, with a great score to support it all.

Overall I loved it, but I’m not sure if Elle Fanning was the right choice. She was solid but not necessarily a standout.

My BIGGEST issue is the godawful title card. In my opinion, title cards are an art in and of themselves. The placement and design of this is whatever, but what pissed me off so bad was all of the small text around it, highlighting the studio and including legal disclaimer text. Maybe it’s not a big deal but it reeked of a studio executive getting involved and stifling creative choices. I know that’s to be expected in a franchise but like, just let Dan cook! He’s such a great director and these two installments are proof.

very good action modern movie about revenge proving self-worth
