this was really funny but super dumb - entertaining with a really fun cast but didn’t do anything crazy for me

Club Dread is like if you set Scary Movie on Scooby Doo’s Spooky Island and somehow actually pulled it off.

Not only is this movie so genuinely funny, but it’s also surprisingly paced really well, and the reveal at the end is arguably better done than most serious slasher movies.

Massive credit to the entire Broken Lizards ensemble who all kill it in their respective roles, and also Bill Paxton who truly shines as Coconut Pete; with both his acting and his singing.

Bit of a miss from some of the funniest minds.

It was dumb but it was entertaining and funny. Very low budget average slasher 2000’s movie. My favorite was Jenny and Lars. (6-17-18)

obviously not objectively great, but it was a good movie in the sense that it’s entertaining. if you like low budget slasher movies i recommend checking it out but be aware that there’s multiple sex scenes throughout

Putman was my favourite character, but not too far ahead of Juan. Kind of disappointed in the identity of the killer, but that's pretty much my only issue with the movie
