Club Dread is like if you set Scary Movie on Scooby Doo’s Spooky Island and somehow actually pulled it off.
Not only is this movie so genuinely funny, but it’s also surprisingly paced really well, and the reveal at the end is arguably better done than most serious slasher movies.
Massive credit to the entire Broken Lizards ensemble who all kill it in their respective roles, and also Bill Paxton who truly shines as Coconut Pete; with both his acting and his singing.
