Jack Nicholson was incredible in this Neo-noir murder mystery story about corruption and wealth and power in the big city - deeply tragic ending but one that reflects very important societal truths that now, even 50 years later are still relevant and necessary to understand the world - the entire cast is great but I truly loved the cinematographic value of this film from its harrowing score to the dark coloring thematics
