one of the harder-hitting noirs that i’ve ever seen with an intelligent narrative and very well-realized characters. the final scenes are legendary; probably kubrick’s earliest triumph, and just an excellent film that anyone would enjoy

THATS how you do a heist movie. What a phenomenal script. Such an amazing movie and it keeps you enthralled.

Pretty great heist film if only these characters were better they're so bland and boring. The ending with the dog was hilarious, though. Early Kubrick is good stuff.
