Bringing Out the Dead

Wayyyyy better then taxi driver, i scream as they drag me away. If you want to see a visually and thematically dark Scorsese movie with a guy going crazy in nyc, this is the one. Taxi driver was definitely higher budget and had more symbolism and shit that people love to pick apart, but anytime I think about Travis bickle I just see all the incel dude bros who are “me fr”ing him and I get really pissed off. Which isn’t fully the fault of the movie but what can ya do. But yea this was great and it almost made we want to watch one of those first responder tv shows, but I know they wouldn’t be ANYTHING like this.

Not my favorite Scorsese movie, but still good. Cage is great in it.
