Using my free time for a sci-fi action fix. Wanted a fast-paced comic flick, but the wooden acting and messy plot left me underwhelmed.

What Worked:
• The VFX are super slick. The nanite tech rebuilding Ray’s body totally popped.
• The intense action gave me that classic, mindless blockbuster vibe.
• Lamorne Morris brings much-needed comic relief to keep things fun.

The Friction:
• Vin Diesel felt super stiff. I honestly didn’t feel any connection to his trauma.
• Too many memory-wipe twists made the middle really drag for me.
• The villain’s generic motives honestly didn’t bring enough tension.

Verdict:
Watch for mindless CGI action. Skip if you need a tight, character-driven story.

What this film offers is interesting. The colors are beautiful (especially the tunnel scene with the blue and red) and the story is genuinely enjoyable. Entertaining and engaging with some exceptional scenes. But not a masterpiece, with a pacing that's occasionally a bit jarring.
