I absolutely loved this movie. Although watching the special effects more than twenty years after they were made was a bit more humorous than amazing, they were still way ahead of their time. Wesley Snipes is a legend, and his performance was nothing less. A must see.

Blade is an entertainingly macabre and excitingly staged action horror, with a propulsive energy... a masterclass of style and swag, dripping with blood and flair, filled with iconic badassery to the brim. It's a f***ing blast!

Fun! Lotta stuff felt ripped right off a comic page, and Blade is perfectly cast to fit the classic hero archetype. There’s some mildly anti-capitalist theming going on here too which I will always love, plus the soundtrack bangs. Soooooo campy tho lmfaao

Love any movie with vampires in them lol

so much aura in this film 😭 fun opening that sets the tone for the rest of the movie! not a single boring minute and has lots of fun visuals (gory but with dated cgi that kinda just makes u smile a lil). vampires are freaky tho lol

i enjoyed this movie for the most part, i think it could stand to be even MORE campy
i thought the villain was lame and there was too much back and forth with nothing happening but it was good 💀

FUN WATCHED WITH CUTIES

7/10 - Good film, not terrible but not perfect either. Wesley Snipes definitely makes the movie what it is. He brings the essence and character to Blade. Such a sick character nevertheless, everything about him is so badass and mean. An 18s film with WS slicing up vampires, YES.

I love how stylish and fun this vampire action film was. The visuals, the CGI, the action sequences, everything was very fun to watch and incredibly well paced in my opinion. Enough to keep my attention thru the entire movie. A great adaptation from the comics. 9.5/10

One of the most stylish action movies ever. Snipes was born to play Blade. It’s ultra violent and action packed with a decent plot and script. It’s excessive in every way and has a great soundtrack. It’s extreme violent vampire horror/action movie

One of the greatest films ever made; the tone, the soundtrack, the cast, the special effects. I’ve seen this movie more times than I’d love to admit but it’s perfect. Marvel struck gold with this and it will always be the best of the trilogy🙌🏽

Dark, moody, and an amazing stand-alone superhero movie. Snipes is in his element, and Kristofferson is the perfect second fiddle. Rewatchable for years. Dorff is great as Frost in probably the only role worth watching him in.

A fun little diversion. The choreography is more funny than realistic, the story does the job, and the style is decent. Enjoyable but not amazing. It's worth a look for the character and his farming aura.
