All in all, I'd say it's decent. I'm writing this weeks after watching it. I remember some of it mentally, but physically I remember exactly how I felt. It looks beautiful, sounds better than expected and plays out like a fever dream. I can't put together the story but certain dialogues and sequences leave your mind boggled. A word that kept coming to me was 'sinister'. Julia Garner and the rest of the cast, play delirium on one foot. 'What a marvel'. I look forward to seeing her as silver surfer even more now. I just wish this was a movie I could like.

Never thought I could stomach this kind of horror but I’ve gotta admit, I liked it. Not super scary but I had a good time. Her hair + the blonde’s are both so good I gotta get to a hair dresser

I ll take a prequal over a remake any day and this was pretty well done esp. since this storyline was was implied in the original flick… it was pretty accurate imo just a bit slower compared to RB… the ending was grand but how does Minnie wind up with the friend’s scarf? Pls lmk🩰

I enjoyed this movie. It’s slow but it didn’t feel slow like it was dragging. I thought the acting was great, the sparkly scene was confusing, and I loved how it ended!

I think the cast was great (love Julia Garner in anything and Dianne Wiest is fantastic) and the set decoration was so well done and well-matched to the original.
My biggest complaint is that I really wish this would have been a standalone concept instead of a prequel as having seen Rosemary’s Baby makes you aware of exactly how everything will play out, including the “shocking” ending.
That aside, it was still well done (despite some cheesy writing at times) and I will continue to watch anything that Julia Garner is in.

I feel like I’ve seen this somewhere before. Oh yeah Rosemary’s Baby with Mia Farrow. A little more character development and a better lead actress and it may have been a better movie. I did not enjoy the ending at all. It would’ve been 100 times better she just would’ve went with it and embraced the role handed to her fully

i really love what this adds to the rosemary’s baby narrative and the end really highlights how evil what they did to rosemary was after it made terry kill herself. and considering how widespread this cult is implied to be imagine how many other women suffered in this way 😠

This is the prequel to Rosemary’s Baby. I haven’t seen Rosemary’s Baby (next up) but this was great as a standalone. Honestly for THAT apt RENT FREE and whatever I wanted? Hail Satan?! lol

i haven’t seen rosemary’s baby yet so idk the connection there but i thought it was pretty good. the third act felt kinda rushed but it has good acting & is visually stunning. i also liked the different designs representing the ‘devil’ character. they were creepy & creative

welp, i did not know this was related to rosary’s baby until the credits rolled… might have to watch it now because i actually enjoyed this???
idk it was weird and unsettling sure, but it was okay
for a second there i genuinely thought she was gonna pull a dani from midsommer and join them, but well… then the ending happened
