This is one where you have to Google ending theories

Definitely had to look up the ending and what the film was supposed to represent in general, but it still has you hooked with an interesting storyline & incredible cinematography. My favorite theory I’ve read was that the film represents the destructive nature of cancer!

Me the whole time watching this movie: Wow this ultra dystopian landscape with ungodly horrors beyond comprehension sure is spooky. I hope they don’t blow the ending.

Yeah this is really good and definitely a movie that makes you think a little deeper. The entire movie is almost a metaphor and this sort of battle between destruction and construction and how that plays into each other. I think when I rewatch this at some point I’ll be able to catch more details but overall I liked it. I think Natalie Portman does well and I loved the shots in the shimmer it was really cool. Overall I’d give it a watch!

That damn bear scene will go down as one of the scariest scenes I’ve experienced in a theater… and also one of my favorites.

I hate that it took me so long to watch this movie. I also thought it would be way more confusing than it was, 10/10

what? it was so strange... and learning about annihilation at physic didn't help... we had even more crazy theories

5/10. I think authors only had a main concept of the movie and couldn’t get any further. It isn’t sustainable. All the characters except the main one are plain. I recommend watching only first and last 20 minutes. Everything else is a waste. Arrival is similar but much better.

Very nice visuals that scared the crap out of me for most of the movie. Natalie Portman and gang were acting their asses off.
Movie was a lot more psychological than I anticipated but I like that kinda stuff.

This was such an interesting movie

The visuals are insane, but the story was better in the novel.

The cinematography and soundtrack are so good!!! the visuals became part of the story. The pace is too slow sometimes and plot is too loose so no kudos.

That was really weird may need to rewatch but first watch it was a bit confusing
