Annihilation

This is one where you have to Google ending theories

Definitely had to look up the ending and what the film was supposed to represent in general, but it still has you hooked with an interesting storyline & incredible cinematography. My favorite theory I’ve read was that the film represents the destructive nature of cancer!

Me the whole time watching this movie: Wow this ultra dystopian landscape with ungodly horrors beyond comprehension sure is spooky. I hope they don’t blow the ending.

Me after witnessing the third act: 😳

Sound design goes crazy

9.4/10

Great, crazy, trippy movie! The concepts and storylines that were brought to life were so unique! The final lighthouse sequence was breathtaking to say the least, I love how it left lots up for interpretation, but was rooted in deep human behaviour, amazing acting as well

Honestly I think it was just me but the movie was very meh at the end. Everything leading up to it was great and it just kinda fell off at the end for me
