This is one where you have to Google ending theories

Definitely had to look up the ending and what the film was supposed to represent in general, but it still has you hooked with an interesting storyline & incredible cinematography. My favorite theory I’ve read was that the film represents the destructive nature of cancer!

Me the whole time watching this movie: Wow this ultra dystopian landscape with ungodly horrors beyond comprehension sure is spooky. I hope they don’t blow the ending.

Me after witnessing the third act: 😳

I watched having read the book. The movie mostly takes the main concepts and tells a very different story. However, it’s a REALLY GOOD story and SO creepy and uncomfortable. It keeps the same kind of horror genre of unfathomable monstrosities. It’s honestly pretty solid!

Wtf just happened

the book was 100x better and the movie didn’t even cover half of it… the word annihilation was used as a hypnotic trigger word to induce suicide and they didn’t even touch on the tunnel, the women didn’t have the same professions, and the ending was actually horrid
